IdHitDat is officially in pre-launch beta.
What I'm looking for is webmasters to build idhitdat buttons for anything and everything they want, as well as to debug, etc.
The concept of IdHitdat is similar to the digg / delicious type sites, except that the 'hitting' of the site is performed by a javascript button.
I know some people think javascript is evil, but I have several deals in place with large TGP owners to allow galleries with this button. Please contact me to find out what TGPs will accept galleries with this button.
This button is therefore NOT a traffic leak and it does NOT require the user to become 'a member' of the site to cast their vote. This is significantly different from other sites.
Adding an idhitdat button to any page that you build is equivalent to an automatic submission to a ranked toplist. The more appealing the entry, the more clicks it will draw from the site, and the better the site is, the more 'hits' it will get and therefore the longer it will stay in the list.
When the site launches it will be bombarded with traffic from our network.
