I'm not looking for affiliate programs or spam in this thread. This is for the site owners that are promoting affiliate programs. I'm trying to get general information to see the main things that site owners look for in these programs.

What programs are you using now that are your top money makers?
-What are your reasons for using these programs? (features, friends, $$)
-How did you hear about these programs? (email, spam, boards, etc.)

What are some of the popular features you look for in any affiliate program?

How do you prefer to be approached by Affiliate Managers? (shows, email, boards, etc.)

What are some of the best experiences you've had with affiliate programs?

why would anyone tell you what their biggest moneymaker is??? So it can be saturated?

A program that does well for one site, may not do anything for another. Every site is different and needs different things. The reason for this thread is find out what those different things are to better our program. Did you not read this part:

Anyway, what I see as a big plus is working with a aff. mngr who knows what he/she is doing and who will do what is promised. Too many shitty reps out there promosing you the world but never get shit done. I also hate when I get the "let me get back to you later" reply telling me they don'have a clue.
