Attn ALL blog owners: Morphing RSS feeds - no duplicated content anymore!
 

Perhaps you already saw the announce about our new morphing RSS generation system for affiliate programs (if not, please be sure to check this thread:

So... today we've made our first installation of that brand new script at rbblog.com - the hosted blog/RSS feed source what belongs to Real-Bucks.

What does it mean? I believe I won't be wrong if I say there is a new era for all that affiliate who use the sponsored RSS feeds on their blogs because there will be no more problems with duplicated content :thumbsup

Every affiliate who is importing RSS feeds from a sponsor that use our product will get the unique content for their blogs (unique text, vrious pictures and even vrious feed tittles) for the same feed!

Just take a look at these examples:

All the links above point to a SAME post, but as far as you can see, that post has a different content in each case depending on the affiliate id! Try to play with ?wm=xxxx parameter and you will get as many versions of that post as many different affiliate codes you will use!

The same thing applies not only to the blog posts, but to the RSS feeds as well!

Right now there is only one morphing post at http://www.rbblog.com/ just because our RSS plugin was installed only few hours ago. However all the new RSS feeds provided by Real-Bucks will be morphing as well!

This one does have the same tittle. It's possible to have the unique tittle, but we just haven't used it in that particular post. Actually it's just a couple of minutes to fix :) So if you want see it with morphing tittle, we can do that right away.

is this why the old feed url hasnt been updating?

Don't want to spoil all the fun, but here's what duplicate content checker at http://www.webconfs.com/similar-page-checker.php says:

umm those 4 links you posted, they all have the same picture / description

Also, does this mean I need to change my feed url as well?

I don't need a computer to compute that!

i don't think you need to change your feed url.. but not 100% sure.. hit me up on msn man when you get back online. having connection difficulties here.

It all depends on the post writer. He/she can make only few words changeable, but there is no problem to write a few different sentences, make the appear/disappear, mix them etc. So you just compared one on simple posts that use our system, but it could be written much more complicated. As I said already - it all depends on a post writer. Also please take into account that the mentioned post is very short and course it's hard to make it morphing with bigger % of probability. However if you make that post 3-4 times bigger, the results of comparison will be far different.

Course not! The feed URL will be the same as it shown above. It will just have the different content for each webmaster based on his/her affiliate id.

I'm not sure Real-Bucks will update their old posts, but the new one will use this morphing technology for sure!

Awesome. I'm still getting my blogs set up. But your plugin rocked. We even managed to figure out the little problem with the sidebar on our own.

Also...is the upgrade part of the lifetime support? I am pretty sure you mentioned something to me about updates at some point.

Remember, that's just one post. If you have other original content on your site that percentage will obviously be less.

The key is to have some of your OWN original content which shouldn't be hard. E.g. Use the sponsor feed for half of your posts, mix in another sponsor every 5th or so post, etc.

I believe I can help you will the sidebar problem. New version of plugin allows to get the affiliate code into sidebar links in very easy way - just hit me on ICQ :thumbsup

My girlfriend hacked the sidebar files to get working, but would love to do it within the plugin like you just said. You got it...what's the cost for the upgrade or is it included in the initial cost? I'd like the morphing stuff too!

Actually the morphing system was developed as a stand-alone product, however we decided to join it together with our old affiliate plugin which. So this version is not considered as just update, because it's upgrade. And I believe that $50 is really not too big price for such an upgrade. Especially because it requires some additional tuning after replacing the older version. In other words: fpdates are free, but upgrades are not.
