Why is it so fucking hard to get High PR???
 

I have been trying for more than 1 year now.. it is so fucking hard.....

highest I can get is PR4...

Because Google doesn't like porn. The last month they even cracked us down even more, most adult sites dropped 1 rank. Not that it matters much anyway...

Is it across the board... cause It may be google is bumping up their PR level

You are missing some things on your index page that search engines are looking for. When you play nice with them and have everything they are looking for, they give you brownie points. You don't have any keywords, description, text links on your index page, etc.

And about the page rank thing, don't sweat it. Only sites like Google & UTube get a 10. My site is at 3 too. Anything between 3-5 is great. Most of my clients are at a 4. I have had one at 5 (it fluctuates between 4 & 5).

well you could buy links on my PR5 mainstream site if yours isn't hardcore (can only link to softcore, babes, non nude and mainstream) :thumbsup

I think you've just got to keep getting more and more links from pages with a PR higher than you

yea its pretty weird my site went to pr5 around jan. and about a month ago it dropped again to pr4

its actually quite easy
get quality inbound links, theres no magic.

Adult board can get PR6+ but adult web site, I don't know

Yes, it's possible. But remember that getting high (6+) PR means you have links from trusted sites - and for the most part that means mainstream. There are thousands of mainstream sites with PR7 and higher, but they spread their PR almost exclusively to other mainstream sites.

One of the industries with very high PR is news sites as they get links from everywhere. Adult sites, for the most part, only get links from other adult sites so the PR is "contained" if you will. Similar to gambling and other vices.

If at some point a few high PR mainstream sites link into the adult community, the PR is essentially cut off.

Google itself says quality backlinks from trusted websites, will increase your PR. They suggest min. of 20. Just so happens that I sell PR domains, free transfer to your godaddy account. Hit me up if you're interested. By the way, 20 PR 4 domains will cost around $800, 1 PR 5 around $150 and 1 PR6 $350 and PR 7 skys the limit.

Luckily I have these mainstream sites to boost my PR with. Otherwise mine would be puny. It takes a crap load of low quality links to even reach PR 4 and PR 4 sucks for mainstream sites and here it seems respectable.
