Anyone ever tried Hypnosis?
 

Was talking to a friend of mine who stopped smoking threw Hypnosis and after looking it up a bit I found a guy that can just make you relax and feel better and solve some personal issues one might have.

I booked an appointement for end of May.

Anyone ever tried getting hypnotize ?

yes, i was a cunt of a kid, so my pears took me every where. They then took me to a hypnotherapist, and then another, and then another. Get my drift - it works if you work it.

I'm just curious cause i don't think anyone can hypnotize me. My friend told me to try it and see so i'm doing it :thumbsup

Some people are better subjects than others for hypnosis.

well, one must be in a state of submission mentally - I was using my example to say it works for everybody - it is like rewriting a script.

Yeah for my 27th birthday ... the dude didn't hypnotize me (that I know of ) ..he tried but it didn't work so he asked me to leave the stage...but i still remember his name because he said he was hypnotizing us all to remember it .. i know your all like.."just shut up " .. but i am so f-ing bad with names .. but for some fricken reason i remember his name every time i see or hear about hypnosis...."Anthony Cool"

Personally, I don't trust someone to more or less reprogram my subconscious without extensive training. If someone is gonna mess with my subconscious, they better have multiple degrees.

In the 50's and 60's the CIA did documented research into using hypnosis as a way creating mutliple personalities in soldiers. Manchurian candidate type assasins. Reading a crazy book on the enginerring of human consciousness right now. Ther's alot of hypnosis on it, and I think I can rightfully say I am a much mor eparanoid person now having read into the history of hypnosis and mindwashing studes over the past 150 or so years. I no longer trust hypnosis, lol. :1orglaugh

Can see how it may be possible to induce MPD by hypnosis - that is also a fairly common method of aiding someone who has MPD and trying to establish the number of 'personalities' an MPD victim may have.

Nothing would be a surprise in what experimental work has been done in trying to use MPD and hypnosis for less ethical reasons. Govts were created from swamp life...

Yup, after having read up on the very little information there is about the entire MKULTRA project and it's spinoff projects, I think it's pretty safe to say there's no ethical boundaries the government isn't willing to cross in search of more power...

Can prob never say with any certainty or ever establish any proof, but kinda vaguely suspect *something* like that in two people in the US. They are both totally unconnected, but their ages are about right for this - suppose the only connection is they were both children of military families, tho not sure that really means anything...

They are OK normal people and no noticeable difference to anyone else in the street - but both have *very* weird "incidents" which seem to pop up and some very strange and unexplained "happenings" and leftovers from their father's term in the military (Both sets of parents are now dead, but left some weird stuff behind).

Whatever it was, whether any govt activity or something else - there was sure some weird abuse going on in their earlier lives tho neither can say (and think they are genuine on this - they really don't know), what that activity was. Some problem areas have been established by psychiatrists and under hypnosis, but the reasons - least so far, have never been established.

It may be innocent enough and just that their fathers were engaged in "private jobs" for the military (this seems more likely based on the stuff they left behind) and nothing to do with "mindbending" - tho still a coincidence their kids ended up the same way.
