If You Get Banned From Google...

hey,

i was just wondering...if you get banned from google for link spamming on your site or whatever other reason...and your PR goes down to 0, is it possible to earn your way back up if you correct the problem? (remove all of the links, etc.)

I have not been banned, it's just something i am curious about...

hmm...i find this question odd for something that hasn't been banned, or do you just plan on link spamming and wondering what will happen when you get banned?

Its possible, but its easier to start over with a new domain. I know very few cases where they were unbanned.

According to theoretical physics, anything and everything is possible, including getting unbanned from google.

you are not banned if you are showing pr0, you are penalized

what I do in that case is take everything off the domain and leave it as a 404, but still active, for about a month......then start over with it

bdld 05-11-2007 11:08 PM

do a search for info:www.domain.com to see if you're banned or not.

best way to lift an unbanning is to change registars+whois, and ask for reinclusion. dont count on it though, unless its a valuable 10 year old domain, i'd just forget about the domain and move on.
