dual monitor desktop with my laptop in between each monitor |
Both. I usually sit on my couch with my laptop and Remote Desktop into my desktop for email, backups, and a few other things I keep on there.
Laptop and Blackberry.
My desktop's were converted into File servers and Backup servers. My printers are setup on the Network with their own print servers. With the size of the HD's, Dual Core CPU's, 4GB RAM, DVD Burners, Great Video cards and Bluetooth and Wireless. I never need the desktops. 1 of my Desktops is setup as a 2003 AD server and I have a Snap server attached to it for my wife/kids to keep all their files on. 98% of the time I'm on my Blackberry anyhow and only login to my laptop to update quicken, surf some sites that I don't like viewing on my Blackberry, and upload pictures to the family gallery. |
Use to have both, but I got so fucking tired of having to synch shit every time I had to hit the road. So now I have a docked laptop. Easier to keep things organized.
I mainly use my lapdesk. But sometimes my deskbottom.
Laptop for sure, Get a sony vaio a nice one and youll never use a dekptop again

Desktop.
I've used laptop for last 2 years. and It affected my neck. |
i work 99.99999% on my 3 year old Dell Inspiron 8200
desktop for me, although I do have a nice laptop, I'm just used to my desktop and the size of it. Everything is so little on my laptop, but I guess if I used it everyday I would get used to it pretty fast.
laptop attached to 20" monitor with extern keyboard.
Pretty much always the desktop...
desktops rule!
why? because no matter where I am I can log into my desktop from my laptop and tell it what to do.... laptops are a tool, like many posters on gfy.... Desktops in their own presence can represent not only your home computer but also a server. WIth that being said, enjoy my fucking answer.... seriously its not my fault........im drinking |
here in office, we use desktop....

Both destop & multiple laptops... Need One? Come Get It

I use multiple desktops. I tend to stay away from the laptops because I would never get away from the computer otherwise. LOL.

My computer is kind of a combo of both, and it kicks major ass.

Laptop for 3.5 years now. Just ordered a new Vaio, but I'm going down in screen size. Been using 17 but lugging it around is a PITA - getting a 15.4 which will be a tad easier to carry, but hopefully not brutal on the eyes.
laptop definately.
3 laptops..
i love my laptop
desktop for design stuff, laptop when I travel.
