Jace 05-11-2007 05:11 PM

both

dual monitor desktop with my laptop in between each monitor

uno 05-11-2007 05:20 PM

Both. I usually sit on my couch with my laptop and Remote Desktop into my desktop for email, backups, and a few other things I keep on there.

audit01 05-11-2007 07:02 PM

Laptop and Blackberry.

My desktop's were converted into File servers and Backup servers. My printers are setup on the Network with their own print servers. With the size of the HD's, Dual Core CPU's, 4GB RAM, DVD Burners, Great Video cards and Bluetooth and Wireless. I never need the desktops. 1 of my Desktops is setup as a 2003 AD server and I have a Snap server attached to it for my wife/kids to keep all their files on.

98% of the time I'm on my Blackberry anyhow and only login to my laptop to update quicken, surf some sites that I don't like viewing on my Blackberry, and upload pictures to the family gallery.

DamageX 05-11-2007 07:04 PM

Use to have both, but I got so fucking tired of having to synch shit every time I had to hit the road. So now I have a docked laptop. Easier to keep things organized.

SomeCreep 05-11-2007 07:11 PM

I mainly use my lapdesk. But sometimes my deskbottom.

nba4life2k 05-11-2007 07:33 PM

mattz 05-12-2007 04:52 AM

desktop for me, although I do have a nice laptop, I'm just used to my desktop and the size of it. Everything is so little on my laptop, but I guess if I used it everyday I would get used to it pretty fast.

beta-tester 05-12-2007 05:04 AM

laptop attached to 20" monitor with extern keyboard.

Scott McD 05-12-2007 05:06 AM

Pretty much always the desktop...

Big_D 05-12-2007 05:19 AM

desktops rule!

why? because no matter where I am I can log into my desktop from my laptop and tell it what to do....

laptops are a tool, like many posters on gfy....

Desktops in their own presence can represent not only your home computer but also a server. WIth that being said, enjoy my fucking answer....

seriously its not my fault........im drinking

jdc 05-12-2007 05:38 AM

I'm on a BES so everything is sync'd up in real time between my blackberry and my Outlook anyhow. There's many days like today where I won't even fire up my laptop. Having the Blackberry allows me to spend more time with my family.

drowsy 05-12-2007 07:13 AM

desktop.

Vick! 05-12-2007 07:45 AM

nothing beats a powerful desktop.

madawgz 05-12-2007 07:52 AM

peeperpimp 05-12-2007 09:08 AM

Both destop & multiple laptops... Need One? Come Get It

whomework 05-12-2007 09:15 AM

I use multiple desktops. I tend to stay away from the laptops because I would never get away from the computer otherwise. LOL.

Laptop for 3.5 years now. Just ordered a new Vaio, but I'm going down in screen size. Been using 17 but lugging it around is a PITA - getting a 15.4 which will be a tad easier to carry, but hopefully not brutal on the eyes.

klinton 05-12-2007 10:59 AM

laptop definately.

camchoice 05-12-2007 11:00 AM

Lol that all depends on your definition of "easy", it's 22 pounds fully loaded.. It does have it's own handle, though! It also has a wraparound carrying case with a handle and wheels to make it a little more portable and you don't have to stand there carrying it. It can be a beast, and the security guys at every airport I've been to have all thought it was a bomb, but other than that I love it lol.

Paparazzi 05-12-2007 03:55 PM

desktop for me

ella 05-12-2007 04:07 PM

desktop, of course. :)

SilentKnight 05-12-2007 04:11 PM

Laptop the majority of the time. Seldom fire up the desktop these days except to play tunes on the Yamaha system.

Flymaster 05-13-2007 01:07 AM
