Ricky Williams Is Officially a Pot Head
There is a report that Dolphins' running back Ricky Williams has failed a drug test in April ... which means his reinstatement to the NFL looks a bit dicey. So dicey that Ricky's NFL career may be over. The report says that he tested positive for the hippie lettuce again and doctors who've been monitoring him during his 'recovery' are recommending that the NFL should just say no to his recent application to reinstatement.
Sorry, but that just shows how much of a pot head he is. I mean, you must play because you owe a ton of money to the Dolphins if you don't. Yet, you are magically banned from the league for a year because you violated the league's substance abuse policy [he could've just missed a test; it's not an outright positive result] and while you are ready to get back in the league's good graces, you test positive for weed. Dude can't stay off the broccoli, even if his career depends on it! Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins are trying to keep him sober enough that they can get their money's worth from him before washing their hands of him. If he wants to be a pot-head, fine. Do your yoga; keep living off the land; grow your beard as much as you want. But stop screwing around with everyone. We all know that the dank is a banned substance in the NFL and if you really want to play you must keep your lips off the joint. C'mon, Ricky! The old regime in Miami was willing to work with you but the current one seems rather passive. You really gotta work at this one. In reality, Williams will be able to apply for reinstatement in September if he can find away to stay clean. Even if he does, will he be granted his reinstatement? And if so, will Miami want him around? Last month [on 4/20, I might add] I wrote that the Dolphins should just cut their losses with Ricky and fans called me dumb for thinking so. Dumb is relying on a pot-head to do the right thing even if he really wants to. http://nfl.aolsportsblog.com/2007/05...ly-a-pot-head/ |
I agree cut their losses. Even if he stays clean he's not playing because he has a drive to win.
|
So it will go something like this...
Ricky talking to self: Okay, well I have to test clean in September, so I can toke down until July...yeah, Mon! July rolls around, and day-after-day of just one more spliff... The dude should just sell ganja to pay back the Dolphins. http://sweb.uky.edu/~aecops0/images/ricky_williams.jpg ADG |
"the hippie lettuce":1orglaugh :1orglaugh
I thought it was a given he was an idiot and he probably wouldn't be around anymore. Why would you even take the test if YOU KNOW you are going to fail, over and over again? |

he's just the only one stupid enough to get caught on his test. if you think there aren't more potheads in the NFL you got another thing coming. this guy is just an idiot. :2 cents:
|
he can't quit the puff puff even for millions
|
drugs are bad! go to rehab!
|
Yep, not much Weedy Williams can do now. Just could not put the blunt down long enough.
|
I don't think it mattered either way. The new Dolphins regime has been cleaning house of problem players, and drafted Lorenzo Booker from Florida State in the 3rd round to be Ronnie Brown's back up. Not to mention they already gave Booker Ricky's old locker.
I was done with Ricky Williams the day he unexpectedly retired on the eve of the 2004 season. Fuck him... |
how the fuck can you be that dumb? some people just don't make any god damn sense to me.
|
People think the everglades are burning in South Florida... Shit, Ricky Williams is
buffing on a few blunts at the crib! More power to him if he turned it back around and rushes for 1000 yards again for the fins. "The bomb diggty" |
I'm not sure why sports leagues need to draw more attention to themselves than they already do surrounding drugs, by testing for a non-performance-enhancing "drug" *cough* plant *cough* when they know dudes are going to fail. What do they win other than bad publicity?
|
Ricky really fucked my team over when he decided to "retire" but not tell anyone until after the draft and free agency were over so the Fins had no chance to find a replacement.
The only reason he came back was because if he didn't he would owe the team $8 million. Failing the drug tests is his way of staying retired without having to pay the money back to the team. Fuck that lazy ass porch monkey. |
What a fucking loser. I think I could quit smoking pot for a while for millions of dollars. Pathetic.

he is making all the pot smokers out there look bad. I don't really understand it though, pot is not going to enhance his performance even a little bit so what's the problem?
|
Who can blame him for choosing smoking weed over playing for the Dolphins. I mean really.
