How much would a domain like "F.com" sell for?

Nothing, icann will prolly never release it to the public...

There was only a few released back when domains first started and they ended up deciding to keep them for somereason..

I know paypal owns x.com, but that is all I know of..

aa.com American Airlines owns I know.

Nissan also owns Z.com

They are both (x and z.com) kinda getting wasted, they should sell them to someone who would put something cool on them...

talked to a guy the other day who owned f8.com, he gets offers all the time...

I guess they where all open at one time, but after a couple got grabbed up they decided to take them off the market..

Paypal has X.com, Nissan has Z.com and Qwest has Q.com.

I believe they can't be transferred. Owners can renew them but once they expoere they are gone forever.

there is not much value in something you can't sell... Marketing z.com as "the" place to be for nissan related infowould be more expensive than marketing nissan.com. The accountant is actually doing a great job saving the firm 9 bucks/year.

no need to shoot for the stars when one can use the Pending Delete Domain Watcher at http://IPalert.com and grab dictionary domains, dmoz-listed domains, 2-character/3-character domains, and also watch pending delete domains by keyword.

it is amazing how people cuss out the domain game, the internet is only growing not slowing down, domains are even better then top real estate for that reason.

You do know the Nissan Z is a massive part of their marketing right? The Z series is basically the only Nissan I wouldn't have minded seeing in my garage. For a rice rocket the 350Z GT actually looked pretty slick ;)
