Motorola Q - anybody have one?
Time to get a new phone and don't want another Treo and the Q looks pretty slick. Any good or bad experiences with the Q?

works great as a phone, so-so as e-mail/whatever client.
Basically get it if you want a good phone/voice quality, but don't care so much about buggy messaging, e-mail, etc. Also hardware seems spottty - I've had a total of 4 handsets (don't ask) and of those 2 locked up constantly. Otherwise, I'm happy with it. All the other phones that do e-mail (blackberry basically) suck complete ass for voice quality. Myself, I think of a phone as a phone first - the extras are just that. -Phil |
i got one 2 months ago, and i HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE it. battery on it sucks ass, the extended battery is retarded because it sticks out of the back of the phone. internet on it is pretty fast and works good as a modem on the laptop, if you are using sprint.
overall, for me atleast, the phone is ghey |
Jaker - you got a buggy one then. Same thing happened with one of mine, basically would do stupid shit and burn CPU thus killing the battery.
Normal phone should last about 48 hours w/o charge and medium usage (e.g. 2 hours talk time, e-mail checked once an hour, etc.) that's the thing that sucks ass about this handset.. so many just, are broken. |
the Q sucks...TREO is even worse. If you would consider blackberry, get 8800.
