Bump for you man... wish I could help. But Carma experience and lack of time prevent me :(

If it is not a matter of time, just go and buy a book about smarty templating, for example a PACT Publishing has one. You will be able to do the work yourself and not depend on 3rd party in future if you need to change or update some things. Smarty is really not that complicated as it looks, you do not have to have anything more than basic programming understanding (loops, includes etc.)

Thanks for your input, but workload and time just doesn't allow for internal people to do this at this time.
