Any alternative to iStockphoto?
They seem to have tripled their pricing structure. Still okay priced for large pics with hi-res quality, but for some quick pics it is a little overpriced in my opinion.
Any other sites like this? Besides comstock. |
There are a few, check out http://www.royaltyfreestockpictures.com
Alternatives are listed at the top. |

do all of these sites allow images to be used in webdesign? I know bigstockphoto does but for example istockphoto, you cannot use their images in a web design that you are selling to someone. At least that is how I interpret their license and I thought Jupiter Images was like that as well? Could anyone elaborate on this because the kind of design work I'm doing these days requires a lot of stock photos. LOL I can't find the terms of use on some of these. Thanks

** correction I meant to ask about the royal free photos with a standard images usage license. The TOS can get confusing at times because they say you can use it for a website but you can't sell it in a template. I am making exclusive prepackaged designs that get sold to one client each. I don't really consider that a template.
