You don't have to go higher than $10k for a quality one. If you're spending $20k on one, you'll have the cream of the crop.

Well heres the deal with pool tables...

the qaulity for strictly pool playing is aroung 3,000... thats for quality craftsmanship, good felt and a solid slate 'surface' thats all you need to spend.

if youre looking for aesthetics such as solid oak and fancy inlets like pearl or god forbid blingin dust... then youre looking more around 8 and up.... but no sense in that really... its your choice past 4k on how fancy you wantit to look or what fits the motif of your office....

Brunswick are the best pool tables I know of.

http://www.brunswickbilliards.com/

I have no idea what their higher-end models go for these days. My dad bought one when I was 15 (late 70's), it was around $2500 back then. It was their 2nd best model at the time.

I'm sure they go for over $10k now. Amazingly fine tables though.

Daruma 05-09-2007 11:05 PM

its for a very high end corporate setting - thus why I want the best - quality - looks - price is no prob... just the best impression is priority :winkwink:

CDSmith 05-09-2007 11:11 PM

Doesn't get more high-end than these...

try to look more for the cheaper one..

KingRedOnion 05-10-2007 02:35 PM

$20k will get you a riley world tournament standard snooker table, so pool table should be $5k cheaper imo for absolute top spec
