It is called fair trade. And I believe the word you are looking for is gouging, not gauging. They aren't even close to meaning the same thing.

I could see it being a violation of fair trade if it were a discount to EVERYONE, but this guy was just trying to help out the old people.

Old people get discounts all the time, senior discounts at restaurants and sometimes grocery stores to name two. What?s the difference? :helpme

Tons of places offer seniors discounts. Heck, my grandma throws a fit if she can't use her age to get some money taken off at the till. :)

So this station would have to raise its regular price in order for its discounts to still be more than 9.2% above wholesale? That licks.
