Whew! After six long ass weeks hobbling around with this huge thing on my leg...
 

I get to find out in about two hours whether I got the green light to take my contraption off my leg and start walking again.

WOOT!!! I'm all freaking out and emotional about it almost. This has been a rough month and a half for sure so I'm excited to be able to use my right foot to DRIVE again, walk down to my beach without killing myself, and I especially can't wait to just dance.

The things we take for granted whew... I'm scared though cuz my leg is all dead and floppy with no muscle left so I dunno this might be the beginning of another long journey working it out and getting it working again.

I feel for you.

2 yrs ago I fell and demolished my ankle.
I had to have a screw put in and I wore one of those boots for months.

It still hurts when I walk a lot. :(

Grats on getting out of your boot!
Hope it's the last time you'll have to wear it.

dont try to dance as soon as you get it off your leg, or you may end up with another one plus one on your arm when you fall down

I was not allowed to put any weight on my left leg for 4 months once, and it took a couple more months after that to be able to walk without a cane
