Content Management System - Who to go with?
 

Looking for a CMS, and see a few different choices out there. Had been leaning toward Awiz, but now maybe Carma. However, one feature I like from my current CMS (AdultWebWare) is the message system where you can communicate with your members. I believe Awiz has this, but none of the others do. Can anyone confirm this? Has anyone used this feature with Awiz, and how well does it work?

If Carma had this feature, I think it would be a no-brainer.

Awiz realy has it. Check the latest version.
But Adultwebware message system is more functional and looks better.

Anyone else?

It is more expensive than the ones you mentioned but more than well worth the money.

I have a copy of this cms set up. It seems to work great.

Hire a coder and get a custom script.

I know... but I am specifically interested in a certain feature of the CMS... I guess no one read my post.

i LOVE and have done tons of sites using Site Depth. they just put out a new version with a ton of great new features that you should check out before you buy anything else.

Heard about security issues with Site Depth. Have those been rectified?

just about every installation if Site Depth i have done has also had Strong Box installed so there were no security issues. have done a ton of them with no problems.

carma has been great for me, there is no messaging system for members that i know of, but I wouldn't really base your choice on a CMS around that. have something custom coded.

have your cms do the content management as it should ;)

strongbox doesnt help with security issues IN the code.
