The Marine Biologist -
Kramer takes up golfing by the ocean, and ultimately ends up fine-tuning his accuracy. While George's (a.k.a. Art Vandalay) wish was to be an architect, he is cast as a marine biologist and must play the part when a beached whale needs help. In typical Seinfeldian fashion, the final twist leaves you gasping for air... a hole in one indeed. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

The Contest -
AKA: The Master of Your Domain episode. Upon being caught gratifying himself by his mother, George decides to cease these practices and enters a contest with his friends. As expected, the contest becomes more challenging as each one is confronted with a rather tempting situation, making it more difficult to remain master of their domain. Undoubtedly, one of the most talked about episodes ever. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

The Hamptons -
Everyone makes a trip to the Hamptons to "see the baby" and enjoy the weekend. George's girlfriend goes topless and everyone sees her chest before he does. "The baby" is the most hideous thing they've ever seen. Elaine is confused when a handsome doctor refers to her as "breathtaking" - the same term he later uses to describe the baby. Kramer finds a filled lobster trap. Jerry's girlfriend sees George naked, after he's just gotten out of the pool, so something isn't as it should be. Shrinkage!! :1orglaugh

The Marine Biologist would have to rate at the top end of my list too

George comes to the realization that he should try to do the opposite of everything, so he does, his luck changes and everything begins to go his way including getting a girlfriend, a job with the Yankees and moving out of his parents' house.

to be perfectly honest, i never watched the show much until it started airing in syndication, but i think i've seen just about every episode at least twice now. great characters and great writing. :2 cents:

It hasn't been mentioned yet, but I like the "Junior Mint" episode.

Jerry cannot remember his new girlfriend's name (it rhymes with a female body part) AND, after being invited to watch a doctor perform surgery, Kramer insists that Jerry eat a Junior Mint, and after fighting over it, Jerry accidentally knocks it into the open wound of the guy on the operating table.

hell yes, I was going to mention those two...

Honorable mention would be the episode where George stops having sex and becomes a genius while Elaine tries the same thing and becomes retarded!

marine biologist for sure would be my top, as george was what i would call the shows fulcrum. You could trust that george would fluke it no matter the obstacle.
the "tight jeans" episode had me throw up from laughing so hard, sheer brilliance... i am feeling it now.....
and of course, the gym teacher with cantstandya....lol

The one where Kramer goes off on the black dudes in the audience was pretty funny.

Marine Bilogist was a great one. Lots of storylines. Wasn't the B story where Jerry refuses to race? lol

Have to mention the scene where George is being fired for having sex on his desk with the cleaning lady and he says "Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? Because if anyone had told me that was frowned upon....." lmao funny stuff.

And another scene where Kramer wants the old mans record collection and George is caught with the foreign maid rubbing oil all over his head, lol.

I HATE the soup episode. Every single time like no other it makes me crave some really good soup.

Last time it was on I ended up grabbing a recipe online, went to the store, and made some homemade chicken noodle. $35 for fuckin soup, but it lasted me the gf and rommate for a month.

I love the one where george and jerry go over to george's gf's parents apartment and her whole family is there and the ups guy drops off a package for the gf's dad (the remains from the cabin fire) and reads one of the letters which happens to be from john cheaver. the letter mention a gay sexual affair with her father. the whole family is stunned and quiet, so george and jerry, out of nowhere, go "well, we really should be going" and "time, time is what he is indicating" as jerry points to his watch.

that shit had me rolling for hours.

The one where they park in the handicapped space.

I always say this " These pretzels.. are making me thirsty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

oh and I like the one where Elaine is getting advice from Kramer who is takign karate. Then finds out it's just kids. Luv the ending. yeah we going for ice cream.. lets just take this shortcut.. and then he gets jumped by the class
