Owner let dog shit in neighbors lawn
I was just fortunate enough to watch a dog shit in the neighbors lawn across the street. And oh yes, dog was on leash while owner happily cheered him along. Fido finishes his daily squats, off they go running once again. No doggy crap sack, no pooper scooper, just a nice fresh steaming pile of dog shit for my neighbor to enjoy.
I hope my neighbor tracks down this wonderful dog owner and smears fecal matter all over his pretty glass front door. Oh no, not dog shit... the kind of shit you get after eating too many chili peppers. |
I fucking hate seeing that. Some owners just don't seem to care.
Yet you'll notice they never let the dog shit on their own lawn. Assholes... :disgust |
yeah..they have fines in most cities....i hate cats...they get away with that shit
|
I chased some bitch off my lawn doing just that the other day. She had no intention of picking it up and I really laid into her.
I hate having the corner fucking lot. |
The main reason I give a rats ass is because tomorrow that will be my lawn. My lawn always has dog shit in it. To make things even worse, I live on a fairly scenic street, I bet 50-75 people walk by my house every day. Often these people take walks with their little kids. I can picture some 3 year old running ahead of grandma and finding stinky mud to play with.
|
When I lived in the burbs and walked my dogs I ALWAYS took along a grocery/Walmart shopping bag or two to pick up poop with. It takes a grand total of about 15 seconds.
Not pissing off the neighbors - priceless Even though we don't have a leash law here, neighbors are sensitive enough not to let their dogs run wild (well, except me when Meg kept getting out of the fence when I'd leave the house and go to a neighbor's and into her house via the cat door...). I doubt most use pooper scoopers though since all pooping is probably done in the woods since no one really has a "yard". |
I would have told him to go back and pick it up. Don't expect results from doing nothing.
|
i would go inform that neighbor of who the dog owner is
|
well atleast he doesnt have to pay for fertelizer

Always cleaned up after my dogs when I walked them in Canada.
The most annoying thing for me was when I'd be walking my Rottweilers and some little fucking shit dog comes running out of a garage or back yard barking and growling only to come nose to nose with a dog who's head is bigger than the entire little dog. This is almost always followed by the dog's owner coming out and yelling about how my dogs are vicious. |

I have a dog...and I hate picking up shit, but if it is on someones lawn you have to!
|
My best friend had the same problem with his neighbor. So one night he went over and shit on the hood of the neighbor's car. He was drunk of course.:winkwink:
|
The worst is when they actually pick it up and put it in YOUR garbage can.

huge pet peeve of mine! when i walk my dogs, i don't even let them walk on people's lawns. i keep them in the street (we don't have sidewalks here), not on anyone's grass at all. i don't even let them poop in the lawn, they go on the street and then i pick it up from there. i don't know why but it just gets on my nerves when people and/or dogs walk on my lawn. i'm not crazy about it and i don't ever yell or even say anything, it just annoys me.

"dog shit spots" in a corner of a street:
I read that a dog smells around to find where another dog squats and he shits there to. by this logic all we have to do is take a bunch of dog shit and drop it all at the same spot and in the same time clean all the nearest places they did the crap so far. this will be a "shot and forget" solution because from now on they will keep smelling the same shit at the same spot and keep shitting at that spot - the spot we choose at the end of the street that doesn't bother us and accepted by all. no lawn with shit and no one has to pick up the shit that will dry off after a while there. |
You should have taken a photo. Dog shit is one of my pet peeves.. I used to fantasize about beating owners bloody for that behaviour, but a photo taken and printed out and laminated in a3 format and affixed to a stake in your lawn will do the trick nicely.
Additionally.. and this might sound harsh, but when I used to walk my dog if it looked like it was about to take a shit i'd just keep walking it along and get it out of "shit mode". No harm in making it wait 15 min till we get home like I have to do if i'm out and about and the urge strikes. It does have well over 23 hours a day to shit in it's own yard. Then again I never went on hour long walks so.. different thing I guess. |
Make a small sign, plainly lettered, and stick it in the middle of your lawn:
"Owner reserves the right to shoot tresspassing canines on sight." Not picking up your dog's shit is just about as irresponsible as you can get. |
My dog shits when I tell him to so when we are out walking I usually get him to shit in front of a garbage can, that way I don't have to walk around with a stinky bag of dog shit.
|
I like this idea.
I would get one of those cheap bee bee guns and next time it happens, shoot the owner with a 1-2 pump shot. Quote:

yes...I hate this kind of owner....i would take the shit and leave it at their front door

Am I the only one who doesn't care about dog shit in the yard one foot from the street? What's the big deal?
|
that is scummy

We have the same problem. I have several people who walk their dogs daily and only a couple of them carry a poop bag. I have one bitch down the street that walks these huge dogs that look like Saint Bernard?s, they are just as big but have long white fur.
After many times of her allowing the dog to crap in my yard and me asking her to pick the shit up, I finally called to police to see what I could or if there was a law about having to pick up your own dog crap. I found out there is not much they can do. I asked if I could pick the crap up and throw it at the owners or turn the hose on them....this would be assault. I now have found a way that does get their attention. My office faces the street, when they walk on my property I go out front and humiliate them so all the other neighbors hear me.....this method works pretty good if you don't mind the stress. The last time her husband came by, walked in the middle of our gravel yard and let these dogs take a huge dump, well I waited out front, did not say a word...when the dog's were finished, I scooped it up, walked down to their house and tossed the shit all over their driveway... The assholes don't walk their dog down to my house now, but they now go to other neighbor?s yards to have their dogs shit. It is not the dogs fault; he is only doing what is natural to him. It is the fucking owner that feels he/she is so special and has no consideration for the neighbors. Tossing the shit back on their driveway or doorstep seems to get the message across. I am about ready to post no trespassing signs, when they come onto our property I can have then arrested. That is the only thing the police told me to do and they could arrest them for trespassing. |
so what about my idea ?
|
They suck
people like them make cities dirtier damn, here in milan, there are tons of them, and not just on lawns (cause there arent many), but in the middle of the streets, on walkways, parks... everywhere! |
Shit is good for the plants and grass :)

Dog shit is biodegradable and plays a very important part in keeping our ecosystem balanced :)
|
My neighbors do that shot too. Let their dogs shit right in the driveway. Fucking infuriated me. Pickup your mutts shit lazy fucking losers.
|
In the country where I live, rules only street law.If your dog shits in the neighbours yard, and you don't go pick it up, he will poison your dog.So everyone is so nice and warm and always cleaning the poo after their dog.
|
Over here a dog owner gets fined 50 euros when he doesn't bring a plastic bag when he walks his dog.
|
btw: buy some pepper, lots of it... dogs don't like it :)

At least in that scenario they picked it up instead of leaving it for others to step in. I have always been meticulous about picking up my dog's shit. He knows to go in his designated area of the back yard, but when we are out walking around the nieghborhood he does sometimes feel the call of nature. I carry a bag with me and pick it up. Not sure why others are so lazy and ignorant as to not do the same. |
