Playboy isn't sexy (at least not financially)
The adult entertainment company has rapidly grown licensing deals and 'new' media businesses, but that's not enough to offset the slowdown in print and cable TV.

read that earlier today... article says their online properties have jumped to about 20% of their total net profit... or something like that.. :)
old media moving onto new media... at least they have the foresight to move in that direction and not become dinasaurs... |

Totally agree on the Playboy brand which is the strongest thing going for it - and prob the main basis for licensing. Suspect over time, the brand will be milked dry until it's not worth licensing. The prime era of Mr Hefner was years ago and, never works out when someone, family or not, eventually takes over the operation. |
