LA's McArthur Park Disaster.
 

So most of you saw the footage of cops in LA firing rubber bullets and bean bags at protesters that got out of hand during a march the other day regarding illegal aliens.

It got out of hand because what otherwise was a peaceful rally at the very end some criminals decided to throw some bottles and stuff at the cops. Same thing happened at Tompkins Square Park way back in the late 80s. I saw that shit!

Anyhow, the cops in LA are so undermanned and underequipped it's a miracle no one was killed.

It's a tough call because we see even reporters getting batonned and shoved around.

Even the mayor cut short a mega-money trip to central america to come back to settle the problem. They're even going after the chief of police Bill Bratten for crying out loud.

This is a mess.

If you wanna make an omlette, you need to break a few eggs.

They shouldn't have started throwing bottles and it wouldn't have escalated to that level. Not sure what people expected the police to do. I think they are
getting a raw deal on this one.
