CCBill Signup Problems?!?since may 1st - 0:10700 !
 

Hello ,

did anybody have the same problem at ccbill ?
i did not have something like that in the last 5 years ! :O

since the middle of february ,over night ,i have " 35 % signups " less then before,and now zero sign up in this month

i have send them a bug report ,the bug is resolved ,but i get no email back !

yes, the same thing happened to us. started 3 days ago, NOTHING. something is definitely wrong. was waiting for this thread.

kinda funny how our sales tanked the same day. hmmmmmmmmm anyone else having problems?

yep. gonna keep bumping this thread and see if anyone else is having problems. I love CCBill, thats why I hesitated to start a thread. So I am no way bashing them. Just trying to find out if something is wrong. Me and my programmer went through everything on our end and we should be OK.

And yes, I have placed a call. They said there are no issues. So I dunno. :helpme

Our CCBILL sales have been normal, more or less, for the past 3 days

today is my first day w/o sale, but day is not at the end, so its normal here in czech republic/eu! :thumbsup

Seriously, I wondered if something was wrong with my sites.

My sales have been down for a while longer than 3-4 days...

More like 10 - 14 days. Was good until mid month April.

Same here, April started good and then it went down.

The problem that we are seeing is not related to CCbill only. 90% (yes 90%) of the industry is experiencing the same shit.

The ONLY sponsors not affected by this are the ones who do not deal with TGP/MGP (yes there are still many). What has happened is, a few months ago a HUGE TGP traffic source has started installing this shit. The same traffic source that feeds most of the TGP's we are used to dealing with...all the "bro's". How huge? Id say 5 000 000 of YOUR TGP surfers get promoted to install the codec on a daily basis.

Since May 1st new signups have sucked. Yes. It happens sometimes, and always comes back. CCbill will know if there is an across the board slow period. Maybe they will comment.

The codec installers are some of the worst ones around right now. They have huge networks of sites that start off as TGPs, but within a few days of trading, all of their galleries are replaced by galleries with the codec install, and about 50% of their trades go to other codec install TGPs.

Once installed, the fake codec cracks the user's machine open like a nut and starts stuffing things into the machine on a daily basis. These people are actually charging others per item to stuff machines. This is anything from zombie mailers, clickbots, and port scanners to code replacers, redirection tools, and signup stealing.

CCBill is often a target for this stuff because CCBill's link codes are easy to spot and hack (simple single code replacement, and you can do it only on sites you are signed up for). It a beautiful but horrible hack, and one we can do little about really.

While there was a slight delay in the reporting of rebills for the 3rd of May, there have not been any problems with transaction processing. The rebills were already re-run this morning.

Our CCBILL is very dead today... more than 3 times worse ratio then yesterday..

But then again, sales seem to suck today in general

The substitution is often done heading for the join page. Remember, they are right on your 'puter, they can change the cookie directly.

Joshua, that is the trick of toolbars / spyware / cookie modification programs: The sales continue like normal. As far as the processor or the programs are concerned, everything is normal. As far as the affiliates can tell, things have gone to shit.

It's the beauty of a scam where everyone except the affiliates get paid... so nobody else complains.

Sales totally blew on the 2nd, fortunately rebills saved us. yesterday was a really good day as was may 1st, but we havent had any chargebacks for a while and got a load come through yesterday, i wonder if it is related. they always seem to process cb's in batches
