My wife digs that show.. so by association i watch it religously.

I hope Sideshow Bob (Justin) does get the boot, but I think it will be Nikki to go tomorrow. In the end, I think it's gonna come down to Tamyra & Kelly. I agree with PK that Tamyra does have diva written all over her, but I really think that Kelly is gonna be the American Idol. That's just my :2 cents:

Yeah, Tamyra is going to be a huge star. Nothing will stop that now. She doesn't even have to win.

It's kinda like the Popstars show in the UK. 1 person won but all the finalists got record deals and put out albums. Bad albums, but they got a chance just the same.

Listen to me...Simon Cowell is almost single handedly responsible for trashing the British music chart. Pop Idol (as it was called in the UK) was huge over here and since then we have had THREE of the contestants go to number one.

The only amusing thing was that Simon tried to rig the show so that the person he wanted to work with won. However, another kid was a better singer and took the prize. So, what does Simon do..well...instead of waiting two months to release the runner's up song, as he had promised, he releases it the week after.

The kid that won has a really good voice but they have made him do crap songs...including a lame lounge lizard cover of 'Come on baby light my fire".

The best part of the show was when it first started! Simon ripping appart the wannabe popstars was hilarious. The unintentional comedic value of the show is probably why it has such high ratings.
