wordpress, no question about it...with the amount of plugins and mods you can do to it, it can't be beat

I like Wordpress as well - the latest version is so easy to work with. We're using it with clients in adult and mainstream and it's really given us the edge in getting some of our clients to the top of the SERPS for the terms they're targeting.

However, Marie's just downloaded a copy of Moveable Type and there's at least good feature in that that's missing from Wordpress so check out both - you might find that Moveable Type works better for you.

yeah, A+ for wordpress. the multiuser script is also very good for starting a bloghost :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

for the amount of plugins wordpress provides i would say wordpress, but if you want something faster for high traffic use 100k uniques+ a day i would go with something custom

wordpress is very slow with high traffic. i would consider something else, for sure... there are a lot of free blog scripts around. i would say Movable Types, because it has 100% static content (pages are not generated on the fly).

Blogs Organiser here... does mass blogs a treat and no security/update issues like you have with WP...
