    Anybody here meditate?

Or do anything else sort of spiritual besides drink, wack, and submit galleries?

If so, what? What do you do specifically... how has it changed you?

    Inquiring minds want to know.!!!

Yup, every morning and every night. At least sort of meditate. I sit down somewhere quiet and go over my plans and focus on making them into actuality.

Sounds corny but the shit works.

I do a lot of the sit somewhere quiet and plan and focus... totally key to successful endeavors I think.

But I'm thinking more along the lines of NOT thinking - exactly the opposite really - sitting and going inward and leaving behind the chattering voice in the head for a while. Being.

Depends on what kind of meditation you want to do and what your goal is. Quiet calm meditation is great for centering and spiritual harmony. Goal centered meditation is better for achieving one's goals.

It is just a side benefit that it also helps to keep me centered enough to not crack people's heads open in the process of getting what I want.

hehehe - yeah but then you could eat the tasty goo inside while you meditate on the nature of impermanance.

Sex or wanking is definately more relaxing...I can't stand meditation or yoga, kinda nothing happens, I know it's on purpose, but it's just boring for me.

Once you get past that, it becomes addictive to have 10 minutes or so to do absolutely NOTHING. Its amazing how much brain noise drains our energy & how refreshing it is to not think for even 10 minutes.

Afterglow is a kind of meditation anyway where you are completely 100% in the moment & enjoying the tingling through your body ... so you are right, it is the best kind of meditation - as long as you don't get up and leave straight away LOL

Most people "meditate" wether they realise it or not. Daydreaming is a form of meditation most people indulge in without ever realising that while doing so their brain enters a low level meditative state.

Sexual acts have been used for centuries as a means by which individuals or groups of people attempt to bring their meditative thoughts, (or wishes). into reality.....

I shoot for 30 minutes a day, usually get at least 5 days during a good week. I look at it as exercise for the brain.
