running burns more..faster? PLUS...u can listen to music....i tried the adaptable ipod case but cant really hear the music too loud...NO its NOT the ear wax

Swimming. It used more muscle groups (if your doing it right) and is MUCH MUCH MUCH less stress on your joints.

Swimming has a lower impact on your body and will get you in shape faster. Tell us what you want to accomplish and maybe we can get you a few workouts. I'd just start doing laps...build up till you can do 100 without stopping (use bilateral breathing, it will help) and then come back and we'll set you up.
