His Companies Have Sold for Over $1.3 Billion

Over the past eight years, 37-year-old entrepreneur Richard Rosenblatt has sold a series of Internet media companies for a total of more than $1.3 billion. In his last big deal as Chairmain of MySpace.com, he engineered a $580 million sale to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. He previously sold a company he founded, iMall, for $565 million.

Rosenblatt has now entered the domain business as Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of Demand Media, Inc. Despite being founded less than a year ago (in May 2006), the company has already become one of true giants in this industry. We'll tell you how Rosenblatt got where he is today and why he thinks he can turn Demand Media into a $2 billion company.

Now that is some Serious money.

Very cool. I hear he knows a thing about Bulk Mail also... but he rarely mentions that.

Wonder how much theHun would get if someone with deep pockets bought it.

Not just thought about it... But gave him an offer he couldn't refuse.

shuki 05-01-2007 05:48 AM

they wont offer that kind of a multiple for an adult site but I would be curious what he would sell for.

i think the future of internet porn is far too uncertain to drop that type of money on an adult site.

Why you asking the core meaningful question when everyone else has their eyes on the dollar value Batts? :winkwink: :thumbsup

i'll say 33 millions... euros :)

Just traffic wise , how much a site/network with 2000 000 daily of good quality traffic would worth .

in the range of 500k$-1 million or more into 5-10millions?

just curious

Lensman 05-01-2007 08:07 PM
