Watching old home videos is a trip...
 

Can't remember the last time I watched some, so tonight I was just chillin and smokin and watching old home videos... a lot of me and my sister when we were younger kids.

Crazy shit. Makes you reflect on life in a kinda different way for a minute after watching them. I know old school family vids usually just stay tucked away in most homes collecting dust, so you should break 'em out if you haven't in awhile...

I was going to come in here and call you gay, but just recently I found a video camera I forgot about tucked away in the highest, deepest, cabinet above a closet in a bedroom we never use. There was a tape next to it. I hooked it up to the TV and saw the first few days after my daughter was born.

I've never had such a great feeling of 'nothing else around me matters' For those few moments I was taken back to those days. It was amazing.

And yes it does make you reflect. It made me hungry for work again. It was very refreshing. It helps to put things back into perspective.

for me it is always something special to see that old time super8 filmcamera scenes from my chuildhood (now converted to vhs tape)

I never want to see myself because I stir up other people and the way they looked.
