Daughter Kidnapped
 

I will be unavailable for an undetermined amount of time.

My 17 year old daughter has again been kidnapped by her mother.

I am working to try and find her.

This post has been placed on JFPDude's behalf. If anybody has been awaiting a response from him since last night he apologizes and will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Anybody in the Richmond Virginia area (where her mother last resided and my daughter was on vacation)

17 yo girl 5'6" 250 pounds

mother would be driving a 1995 green mustang not sure of the license plate.

mother is 5'7" 300 pounds

Please do not intervene but call the local police.

honestly I dont understand the "kidnapped" description. The daughter is 17y.old and she is with her mother. Is some man involved in this case? I can't think of a mother kidnapping her daughter at the age of 17. Strange thing. Anyway, I hope everything will be resolved soon and it's not something serious. Best wishes.

This happens with divorced parents..... Mother or father takes child from other parent and disappears.

Though that usually happens with younger children.

14 Years ago JFPDude came home to find his house empty. He came home from work early that day because something felt out of place.

For 13 years he searched for his 2 kids only to have his daughter call him finally the week before christmas 2000.

The police and courts did nothing to the kids mother because they wanted to reconcile everything and felt just giving JFPDude custody and the mother a week visitation in the summer would heal things.

JFPDude son now works with him at a large web hoster and most of you know him. However his daughter had to go for the agreed upon visit with her mom last week. His g/f went to pick the daughter up last night to find her missing and again like 14 years ago he doesn't know where she is again.

Laws in this country needs to be changed.

Right wing assholes have gone to far trying to make family's stay together.

This is just another example of the break down of laws in America.

Go down to your local bail bond agency, find who they use for their "fugitive recoveries" those people can find anyone!

hope you find her. the skip tracer sounds like a good idea. you need to get her tag number, etc. from motor vehicle. see if you can find someone who can monitor her (exwifes) credit card usage, easy to trace then. good luck.

Because you didn't read well I'll state it again. We had to bring her to her mothers house for a visit. When we were supposed to pick her up last night the house was empty.

The legal system doesn't really give a shit about kids once they hit 16 or so. I've been going down a similar road for the past couple of years. About kidnapping, it's more or less a "contempt of court" thing on the offending parent.

JFP - I hope you find her.. Here in CA they have the "Amber alert" now that shows the license plate # on all the hwy signs. But they just said they won't be counting custody kidnappings an abduction.

Curious though, if she's 17 couldn't she call you up from wherever she is eventually? I mean, she's not being bound and gagged right?

We usualy don't get them back alive and virgins either.

Unless the mother is some kind of a nut (she apparently raised the kid for 13 years so this is most likely not the case) I don't considered spousal custody disputes to be kidnapping, although the law in some instances apparently does.

Yeah, i was back in the states a couple weeks ago and heard them on the news.

Over here we just had two ten year old friends go missing for two weeks only for their bodies to be found this week. The people being held were their classroom assistant and her boyfirend which was the school's caretaker.

very sad news, but if she is with her mother you can at least take some comfort in the 99.9999% fact that she is safe and sheltered.

No shit!!! On my way home from the tanning bed and other errands a few minutes ago, I heard about 2 other kidnapping cases where they suspected the non-custodial parent. That's just insane. Then this morning I found out they have a child stalker who is trying to pick up little girls about 30 minutes from me........ this world is getting so fucked up.

I'd be expecting a call from her soon. If she is at a place she doesn't want to be, then she's not gonna hang there very long. and as far as the law goes.. especially now.. I doubt they'd be very concerned in that she is so close to being an adult with it being a custody thing.

Who knows.. it could be that she didn't want to come home yet... might be somethin to think about..

um, these kinds of kidnappings happen all the time. not to discount JPFdude's experience, but it's not like we're all in some "epidemic" time, no matter how much the media wants you to believe it.
