A day at the beach..One lucky guy!!!
damn, looks like he landed right where it went down. Is he responsible for bringing it home?
Holy shit. Looks like he landed in the water right on top of his plane!
Yup, looks like he saves himself then killed himself by landing on his own plane.
I"m sure he is fine, but still pretty crazy! |
Nice tax dollars up in smoke :(
OMG! that's crazy!
where is it from ? looks like that one jet which was able to "hoover"...think the marines used it a lot, but they had many problems similar to this one..
ejecting from a military jet is very rough, many get serisouly hurt as they are accelerated at a very high rate (g force), it is very common the are unconscious when they land. |
man a lucky guy

what the hell was he doing at the beach like that I wonder? kinda dangerous to be around all those people.. amazing he didn't kill someone.
I used to work on F-15's and was always in the cockpit. We were trained from day 1 to make sure that the safety pins were in the handles for the ejector seat. Supposedly if you eject while on the ground you don't go high enough for the chute to slow your descent and you would most likely be killed. Looks like that guy barely was high enough for his chute to open, and landing in water certainly helped.

I didn't know Great Britan had a military.
Oh, wait... I forgot about those tough folks that got captured and "tortured" last month. Can that be considered a military? |
