Printer ink, where do you all buy yours from? do you buy generic? (SEXY PIC!)

I used to buy generic ink cartridges ALL the time, then I noticed the market got flooded and some really shit ink started appearing, so I switched back to genuine

now I am in a situation again where having generic could really save me a lot of money, but I hate to get trapped in that shit ink stream again

anyone know of a solid place to buy awesome generic ink from? not the syringe refills either, generic cartridges

oh, and here is a sexy pic

have you tried out inksupply.com? used to use their continuous system, but changed printers since then.

get a laser printer, imho.

More up front, and much less out the back.

I used to buy generic ink all the time about five years ago but every single new printer I've gotten (say, last three years or so) have done really badly with the ink. They will report the ink cart as being empty or near empty and give the occasional "ink empty" error even though there is plenty of ink left in the cart. I guess it's because the carts are not chipped like retail and the printer makers are just trying to milk you for every cent possible.

yup same here

I read some stuff on that, it has to do with the ink being bad quality and clogging up the printer and shit like that

most of the generic chip I used to get were always chipped though
