Warriors know how to finish games this year!

lazycash 04-29-2007 10:23 PM

I'm a huge Suns fan, but I feel like I'm rooting harder for the Warriors. Let's just hope they can close it out in game 6 should they lose game 5. I'm already envisioning Cuban's face when they Warriors take the series.

More like this postseason, cause they weren't closing out too many the first five months of the season.

Unreal.

When was the last time an 8 spot beat a #1?

dynastoned 04-29-2007 11:21 PM

the mavs just don't match up well agains't the warriors. plus the coach who basically built that team is sitting over on the warriors bench.

Its never happened in a 7 games series. Last time it happened in a 5 game series was when Denver knocked off Seattle like 17 years ago when Mutombo did his emotional celebration on the floor.

Yeah, thats part of it. Another aspect is that if you followed the regular season the teams aren't as far apart as their record indicates. Dallas had a great regular season and seemed to pull out every close game and had very little injuries. Golden State was plagued by injuries all year long, had a huge trade mid season and seemed to lose every close game the first four months of the season. In essence Dallas was more like a 60 win team and GS with all their players healthy is more like a 52 win team. Also GS finished the last month on fire with their team finally healthy while Dallas kind of coasted the last month entered the playoffs playing very mediocre. I think it will all come down to game 6 assuming Dallas wins game 5. If GS can't finish it in game 6, I really don't see Dallas losing a game 7 at home.

Just got back from the game..Warriors fans are awesome....

Dirk almost scared us at the end with his threes....everyone was standing up...

Let's go Warriors..Let's go!!!!

Don Nelson is a great coach...he is the 6th winningest coach in NBA history, and is tied for the most "NBA Coach of the Year" awards.

Imagine was his numbers would be like if he had the kind of teams that Phil Jackson, Pat O'Reilly, and others have had. Nelson has had to do it year after year without a big man or NBA MVP.
