I got a Verotel sale from a site I don't promote... how come?
I know Verotel works with cookies, so is it possible to get credited if the surfer who visited one of the sites I promote as affiliate decided instead to join another site of my list that I haven't promoted ever?
does it work that way? :upsidedow |
Cross sale maybe?
|
can you elaborate on this?
thanks |
sounds like a cross sale. those are always yummy :thumbsup
|
how long the verotel's cookie remains active to credit a cross sale? anyone knows?
|
Someone loves you.

Verotel's affiliate links all use the same affiliate ID (rather than merged accounts like ccbill), so it's possible that a set cookie will catch a signup on any of their client's sites.

thanks for your comments, I love that Verotel's idea!

I would want to know about this................

Actually re-reading the first msg it says "...decided instead to join another site of my list that I haven't promoted ever..."
So that means you had signed up to promote the second site, just hadn't actually sent any traffic? If so then Verotel probably don't know/care which clickthrough set the cookie, so long as your account is associated with the site as a reseller then you get the signup. More guessing of course. Ask Verotel. :) |
yes rowan, thats the way it works
every program should do this! :upsidedow |
