you are clueless and inexperienced... the best way to get the most out of your server is to NOT use a control panel, if you need to use cpanel it means you dont know shit about server admin cause you can host multiple sites and emails just as easily with almost no effort if you knew how to admin your machine... even if you get cpanel, i would strongly advise you get management so they can run updates and secure your machine... it is a MONTHLY PROCESS, not one time thing... you are lucky your sites arnt popular otherwise you would've already experienced hacking to them if they had more exposure.

I know how to manage a server via shell if that would be needed, but why would I do that? Pain in the ass and WHM can do it all with one click. Oh, and I guess you've never heard of the automatic securty updates.

If you really think that Cpanel is in any way close to the 'Ferrari' of server management you really need to get a clue. Seems you either have very, very limited requirements or have just had dumb luck if you've really managed a server for 3 years with no problems.

But then it's also like saying you've owned a car for 3 years and have a clue about tweaking and tuning it. Amusing thread but a great deal on the server.
