We offer 10 free minutes, so when notifications go out on a revshare program with a free trial, it says you earn $0.00.

I see that there is no free trial for this site, but what bills as NBNative? Is that NetCash?

I got something like that for a PPS sponsor. Of course, like you, the sale made me $0 lol

Yep, it's when you use Netbilling's join form instead of your own.

I've asked 3xTom and/or quantum-x to look in and make sure that I explain this correctly, but my understanding of it is as follows:

We sent out a mailer to ex-members. The link in that mailer had the original affiliates signup link in it. Which is great if you are that affiliate, and they re-join through that link.

Unless...

they are cookied from another affiliate, when they re-join. Then the other person gets the sale.

And as to the other, yes, NBNative is NetBilling. :)

Selena is right :) . Go and buy a lottery ticket, because these don't happen very often :|

So a nats affiliate link code DOES NOT overwrite any cookies? Do you mean the first person to get the cookie will always get a sale no matter which new affiliate send the traffic via nats links code that actually got the sale?

I'll be frank, I'm not at all certain on the specific situation raised above, I just remember that this issue has been raised before and 3xTom and Selena have provided the correct explanation for it.

I am, however, familiar w/ NATS linking practices - If you link via TRACK links in nats [ie, the normal way] - cookies will always be rewritten. If you send via STRACK links, they are usually overwritten, but that is optional [the trailing 1 in a link].

If you send to a tour with just a GET variable ?nats=12345 without sending to a track link first - SOME SITES will take the cookie values over the GET variable.

All our sites DO give the GET variables preference, however.

Not sure if any of the above helps, but it's some background.....

Correct.

Many of our merchants hos thtier own join forms and that is called Direct mode. NBnative is what NATS named the other way to process throuhg us where we host the join forms. Direct mode is called NBdirect in NATS. We give our merchants the ultimate flexibility that way.
