I don't dislike you personally Lars. We would prolly find ourselves to be kindred spirits in many ways (I grew up surfing waves long before surfing the net, and my hair is longer than yours ever was, etc).

To some extent I understand your marketing - you go where the traffic is.

AFF is a part of the adult industry, and a very profitable entity, by most accounts. Granted, organizing the adult industry is somewhat like cat herding, but I see companies with resources like yours as having the potential to take a major leadership role in battling pirate sites, which in turn would both improve your standing in the community and potentially increase your profits.

If you were to do so, I think you would garner tremendous support within the legitimate webmaster community, which might even offset the traffic you get from dealing with illegitimate sites.

Since we both operate in the Bay Area, I would be more than willing to sit down with you/your lawyers to map out a plan for a self-supporting non-profit that would take a leadership role in combating such organizations (I was a corporate executive and a political activist long before entering the adult arena, so I have some ideas about what it would take).

Also, I know what legal battles you went through with your P2P music download company - you expose yourself to similar woes when you conspire/support sites that illegally steal others' content.

If you want to meet and discuss things, just let me know...lunch is on me.

i bet you see this, you can't resist reading my replies. You are so obsessed with me it's not funny. It burns your ass that you think I am the reason you have been owned here when in reality you owned yourself. All we did was hand you the rope. Hate yourself brother, hate yourself. I know you reading this :1orglaugh

Hey Batts...

Well, good to know someone can see my post. :upsidedow

So far as I know, Lars has not responded yet.

I am quite sincere. Although I am a paying member to FSC, and I support their work, I feel the adult online community would benefit from a non-profit member supported group that actively pursues and irradicates pirate sites as well as lobbies governments and the industry to eliminate companies that illegally threaten our legal businesses.

I would love to see Lars and AFF take such a leadership role. I would not expect them to assume this burden alone. I think most webmasters, sponsors and affiliates, would like to see content thieves and their ilk dissapear. Ignoring the problem or wishing it away will not work, hence my appeal to Lars, since I genuinely believe he has a conscious.

Hope this explains my multiple posts...

Why do you think Lars does not respond?

There is nothing particularly offensive about my questions/proposal to Lars, is there?

Quite the opposite. I propose an opportunity for Lars/AFF to become a leader for the betterment of our industry.
