I love Guitar Hero. I've heard talk about downloadable tracks for the Xbox version. That would be sweet.

there are currently 9 songs availabe for download, but they are all songs from the first version of guitar hero. There is supposed to be an effects pedal coming out for the 360 verion, which would explain this port on the bottom of the guitar.

That's the most fun I've had gaming in years is playing Guitar Hero 2.

Hey heres an idea.. Take all that effort and learn to play a REAL guitar.. Then you dont have to download songs to play so you can look stupid.

I got it 2 weeks ago and have been playing 3hrs (at least) every night - Games worse than WOW :upsidedow

Forgot to mention GH3 is already in the works for release this year - I read it on thier boards and the song line up is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet so far. They are also coming out with a wireless guitar.

There is one clip I saw right after we got GH2 a few months ago where it is an Asian kid running through a song at the highest level and not missing a damn note...then he smashed the guitar at the end.

They sell wireless guitars for #2 as well, I bought one. Kind of a rip off at $60, but still sweet. :thumbsup

Some 8 year old kid getting 95% on psychobilly freakout. Someone should hand that kid a real guitar. Anyone with that kind of hand-eye co-ordination and dexterity at the age of 8 was born to play guitar.

God damn I love Guitar Hero. Before this year I had never messed with rhythm games much. I tried Parappa the Rappa when if first came out but wasn't impressed at all.

Then came Elite Beat Agents for the DS. I LOVE that game. It's corny but I love it. Then Guitar Hero 2 came out for the 360 so I bought that on release day. As soon as you get over feeling like a jackass holding that little plastic guitar it is a LOT of fun.

Last but not least is the game Boom Boom Rocket on Xbox Live. If you have XBL, at least download the demo. If you like Guitar Hero, you will probably like Boom Boom Rocket.

I love it, I beat it on easy, but I am on 3rd song on medium and its hard. Very tough to use the pinky finger. lol
