How to promote an affiliate program

Just wondering how abouts you can promote a small potato affiliate program , when there are so many big guys out there who does huge payouts??
What are some of the things you can do, to get webmasters to join your program??

you can:

1) have an interesting site - it doesn't matter how many teen sites the big ones are spawning out, if I see yet another teen site I'm going to puke

2) offer good percentage, recurring, and referrals

3) have nice free content - that way you're going to catch many new webmasters that need that content to get started

4) make a catchy sig and post a lot on this board :winkwink:

I give blowjobs to webmasters who promote my program.

You should try it, works well

excellent advice...speaking of which, did you get that content from my partner yet?

I would also add: make sure you keep stocking your own traffic so as to not just depend upon affiliate traffic. Send your webmasters a monthly newsletter so they don't forget you. Most webmasters, me included, tend to push a sponsor hard for a month or two and go on to the next bactha nd kind of forget about you. so keep yourself fresh in their minds...

example: hey DarkDollars webmasters, email [email protected] to get some fresh content to promote our sites. Also, we're readying a bunch of graphics so you can start building your own tours to send your traffic to since you know your traffic better than we do :)

btw, the above is true. cyberpunk is still in transit to Canada, so email me in the meantime with any questions [email protected]

Nope, nothing yet. But you mentioned he will be gone a couple of days, so I thought I'll give you a week and then start whining again.

I like to pretend I'm a female webmaster and send pics I found of some chick from Guatemala on Yahoo like they're me, and then a little bit of cyberhumping laater, I'm getting traffic.

I am reworking my program, because right now it sucks, not enough promo tools.

So I would say yo need good banners and ads. my banners and ads suck so my program is worthless to most, unless you already have very specific traffic for it.

whoa, where do i sign up?

haha, all I meant is that if you only have adult sites, such as most everyone here it is harder to promote without the proper tools, unless you spend some time being creative and making your own angle to sell the product. most people wont do this.

If the promo tools arent there its hard to promote. Now, if you have good health related traffic its a piece of cake. Our top affiliate converts 1:10 with his HGH resource site.

So, there is nothing wrong with anything about my program besides its needs more and better promo tools, I got my guy working on that now.

so quiet, look at our sample stats and you'll see you can earn great $$$ with it.

I built a separate site for my affiliate program. Since I opened the separate site, I've gotten a lot more affiliates to signup and promote. Here's the link if you wanna take a look:

Good luck!

These are the exact guidelines I followed when I decided to rework my affiliate program and so far so good. If you stick to these, you should be fine. Also, having somewhat original/exclusive content helps a bit as well.
