    DVI vs VGA display quality?

I've only used vga connections, but have a dvi video card and monitor coming in the mail - Radeon x1300 Pro video card and Dell 24in monitor. I'm curious if there's a noticeable difference in using DVI instead of VGA when connecting to a digital monitor?

the difference is in the resolution, dot pitch, contrast ratio and size of the monitor not the connection

now there can be a difference in video playback/speed thanks to the DVI connection but the real beauty is that with DVI a hidef TV for example can be used as a monitor for yer puter

that may not seem important but consider this

you get a computer and hook it to yer TV and to your wireless modem, download or purchase hidef videos, movies or whatever to that puter and play em back in Hidef on the TV

without an HD-DVD or bluray player
