whew...I'm done!

Started training intensively again, pumped a total of over 100k lbs in the last 2 hours. That shit is harder than I remembered...

WayPay-Kenny 08-19-2002 07:32 AM

Just got done myself.. arms are still shaking.

ROIDS!

chodadog 08-19-2002 07:35 AM

Hehe, i just got back into working out msyelf. Nothing anywhere near as intense as that though.

galleryseek 08-19-2002 07:41 AM

punkworld, lol, if you work out that much every day, thats not a good idea at all. its proven you don't need to work out anywhere near that long to make gains, anything near that long is counter productive. even arnold schwarzenegger (spelling?) admitted that working out as long as he did was not necessary at all. he could have gotten as big as he is without putting in that much time in the gym (along w/ the steroids). 45 mins to an hour is a good amount of time, 2 body parts a day, 4 exercises per body part, and 3 to 4 sets. :)

Babaganoosh 08-19-2002 07:45 AM

I just finished off some hotcakes & sausage from McDonalds and about half a box of Ritz crackers and a red bull to wash it down. Now I am considering some Hi-C and Oreos. They are the doublestuff oreos so they are heavier. That can be considered working out, right?

WayPay-Kenny 08-19-2002 07:46 AM

At the risk of sounding lame, I've been doing 30 minute workouts, 2 times per week. 15 reps, about 10 different lifts/exercises.

FATPad 08-19-2002 08:04 AM

Last week I was sitting here thinking to myself I should hop in the car and drive to the gym. Then I realized I've never been to a gym so I don't have a membership to one. Then I realized I don't even know where there is a gym.

Then I saw this bright, shiny bead and went to play with it.

dope 08-19-2002 08:10 AM

Working out my left arm now on some gangbang content.
Finished working out the right arm 10 mins ago on some good anime shit:thefinger

RATBOY 08-19-2002 08:11 AM

Got a big ass cup o' coffee I am doing reps with right now.

SR 08-19-2002 08:13 AM

Man working out that long will make you look like a blowup doll.
Unless you want to have a gummybody like those bodybuilders have.

Big E 08-19-2002 08:46 AM

I just started training again too..

It sucks having to start all over again.. I hate feeling so fucking weak in the gym. :-/

That's gaining mass. However, I am not training to gain mass, I'm training for strength and, most of all, endurance. That's why I use larger sets with smaller weights, which naturally take more time to complete. Ofcourse I combine it with lots of running, biking, swimming and shadowboxing, to get a good overall workout.

Fletch XXX 08-19-2002 12:16 PM

True. Grazing diet and 45 minutes of intense execise 6/week get it in the right place.

beemk 08-19-2002 05:25 PM

i just switched gyms so i've been working out 5 times a week instead of 2 or 3 because my new gym is 24 hours. you would be surprised how many people go and work out at 2 in the morning.

HAHA...you are 100% wrong. And Arnold never admitted to that. 7 times mr. olympia doesn't come from 45 mins a day working out, you fucking retard. Pro body builders build 8-10 hours per day. Thats 8 or 10 hours of pumping. Not breaking, not wiping off sweat, doing reps. THese guys get up at 6am and stop around 8pm. They only stop to eat gargantuan amounts of food.

Granted, no one here is prolly trying to be a pro builder, but just don't fucking lie you fucker.

chass 08-19-2002 06:18 PM

I just do 12oz curls.....glug glug glug

Adrenaline 08-19-2002 06:19 PM

Actually, you are wrong on this one. Training for 8-10 hours a day will not give your muscles the time to recover after training. Muscles need about 48 hours of rest between trainings. Any more training actually has a negative effect.
However, the time needed to spend training for pro bodybuilding isn't as low as 45 minutes either. Without steroids it's about 2 hours a day, with steroids 3 to 4 hours a day.

I just woke up after eating dinner. Man, I need to start working out again. Keep posting shit of you working out so I can build my motivation. :thumbsup

Based on my reading, you are right about most of the things you posted in this thread. Muscles are built in the kitchen, not the gym. You work out to stimulate muscles to grow and than you eat the right stuff so they can actually grow. Working out 10 hours a day is just stupid, one would only do damage to ones body.

I don't know much about steroids and which ones you are referring to, but are you sure you need to train MORE with steroids than without?

Yup. Because with steroids, you can train more, while still getting results from that training. Ofcourse, the time you spend training is also more effective, so with steroids you can do in months what would take years without them.

Squishy 08-20-2002 04:26 AM

I took some acid a few hours ago...does that count?
