Questions about Toplist and Traffic

Hello, i need all your opinions on this topic. So please post what u think.

1) what are some good toplists out there that do not have popups and do not cheat webmasters?

2) As far as i know, many link sites use toplists to send traffic to there link site because its quality traffic. Is toplist traffic quality productive traffic?

3) If i had a quality tgp... might it be a good idea to send some traffic from toplits? If my tgp is good enough (which is it) theres proabbly a good chance the surfer who is looking for free porn will bookmark it. Right?

4) Besides sending traffic from traffic sites to my quality tgp and traffic from gallery link backs... WHats another way to feed my tgp with some traffic each day. I am looking for no more then maybe 1k-2k a day of extra traffic. Thats without buying traffic.

If anyone has any input please share. Right now, me and my partner runa quality tgp and a few traffic sites. We are looking for ways to drive more traffic to our quality site.

Regards,
Derek

1. most toplists have usually 1 or 2 exit pop-ups. even if they don't, the sites listed in the top list usually have pop-ups

to find the best toplists, concentrate on niche oriented toplists. see what other webmasters are using. do not link to toplists that do not have anything else listed than other topsites.

as for cheating... have good stats of your own and watch them for a couple of days. you can see if you're getting good returns and not getting cheated. many toplist owners run several toplists so you can then trust the guy and try his other top lists

2. IMO, top list traffic is of good quality. it is usually already filtered for niches and the surfers tend to be "new" to the Net (=havent yet found the paradise of free porn = TGP's)

3. if you are able to receive top list traffic, why the hell would you waste it for giving out free porn, when you could sell them memberships

Well the reason for that is because at the moment, me nor my partner make galleries. Our main goal at the moment is to get a good stable bookmark site at about 70k-80k. We are more then halfway there. We are just looking for a few ways to feed the sites with a little bit of extra traffic each day.

Maybe once we reach our goal, we will venture into other aspects of the biz such as galleries and link sites. But for the moment, our main focus is a good stable 75k bookmark tgp.

Do u suggest any particual topsites?

My advice would still not to use toplists for feeding your TGP.
1. top list traffic doesnt come in quantity
2. the small amount of bookmarkers you'd get are not worth the effort

If you REALLY want to get new bookmarkers by using toplists, why not do it this way?

1. Make a few signups a day from toplists -> say, 100 bucks
2. Buy that crap traffic from other TGP's worth 100 bucks a day

You'll get more bookmarkers faster

Thats probably a better idea. Do you suggest making galleries and sending traffic from the toplist to the galleries? Or make link sites?

WHat do u suggest. The main problem now is that me nor my partner have a great deal of time each day where we can site there and make galleries day after day.

But its defiantly something we should give some serious though to.

Any other suggestions on ways to send some extra traffic to my quality site? We are not looking for traffic anywhere near 5k or something. Just an extra 1k-2k aday will make a big difference because of the way our site is designed and setup.

I don't know. TGP guys have access to superior knowledge in this area. I'm no TGP guy. Maybe someone from the elite will help you out?

I would still keep TGP vs top list projects separated.

TGP surfer is too experienced to click on a top list.
TOP list surfer is too valuable to waste on a TGP

Also, from my traffic sites, do u suggest sending blind traffic or traffic from a perm visible link where the surfer knows wheres hes going?
