ATTN: Gallery Designers - Quick Question
What do you do with your really old galleries who use free content and promote sponsors who either close up shop or simply do not make you $$? The galleries still draw tgp archive traffic/se traffic and still burn your bandwidth. Do you simply chunk the gallery and hope for no blacklist? Promote a different sponsor using the free content of another (against TOS)? Spend even more money on content to replace the free content and then swap sponsors?

if I were you I'll redirect the traffic to my best converting gallerys...

simple solution
if the page is archived on hun or ampland then don't change it :1orglaugh |

LOL, what are you talking about?
fuck, so i just re-read the original post. :1orglaugh i mean to say... don't change it as in delete it. change the pics and linking code on a mass edit. 100 big tit galleries, use the same pictures for maybe every 5 galleries. if someone notices, then fuck 'em. they'll wonder how the same page was listed twice. but why would they care? heaven forefend someone might use the same picture more than once. you really think that someone like the hun will see your gallery has been changed from busty amateurs to boobtropolis, and go on a blacklisting spree? unlikely. the guy has problems catching real cheaters when they redirect their traffic to popup hell. if you've ever seen them on his index page, you'll know that they stay up there for like 12 to 15 hours before he removes the link. he has a bot, eh? must be a pretty shitty one. "bot" my ass. it has been a long time since i did gallery pages. obviously it is awful, awful traffic compared to avs. anyway. i have pages in the hun's archive that have been changed dozens of times since he listed them. guess what? even pages where i've changed images, but kept them in the same niche... they're still there alive and kicking, and listed. |
Ok...I'm seeing your point and well said also. :thumbsup

There's an old technique called "double fuck them". Send them to your tgp and ask a trade from the ones you redirect.

Be sure to contact them on ICQ ten minutes later and complain "I sent you 35 hits, I only 30 hits back. What the fuck is your problem, asshole?" This is probably the best way to ingratiate yourself to new trades. Even loves a spunky attitude, and will almost always force massive hits at your site. At which point you should start to add consoles to increase revenue. I would tell you more top secret TGP Guru type tips, but the Leader warns that this information should be closely gaurded. I just hope he doesn't notice your site, which I am sure, will soon be rocketing up the ST Page Ranks lists. |

LMAO @ Steve. Great tips for building a high traffic site :thumbsup
If you're using sponsor content on the gallery then you need to leave it as is, copyright violations and all that. If its your own content and the sponsor isn't converting, just run a search and replace proggie and change the links to another paysite in the same niche. The gallery will look the same to the surfer and the TGP owner, but when they click they'll go to a different paysite. On another note, if TGP archive and SE traffic is burning up more bandwidth than you can afford, you really ought to consider a new line of work. |

Heh....I'm simply talking about optimizing the bottom line. If you have hundreds of galleries with sponsors who no longer operate their affiliate programs and you continue to send them your traffic using your bandwidth, thats your business. I'd rather make money. |
nice 404 error will do

Build, submit, and forget. That's my :2 cents: |
Steve the leader has told me, to tell you, to tell everyone, not to tell anymore secrets about tgp traffic :)
Drop me a line on icq and I'll give you further instructions on this matter |
