So today is leg day....so im doing squats...im not even trying to do a lot..as i am still getting back into the swing of things and it is best to go slowly.


But this dude goes to the rack beside me gives me a dirty look as im only doing low weights...and doubles what i was doing. then proceeds to go down about half the way on every rep...lol

who the fuck does he think he is fooling?

these are the same people who do shit like throw the weights around without thinking about how it will affect their joints....see you in ten years when your elbows are shot..lol


anyway..i was quite pissed at him....but in a month ill be upping my weights..and then we shall see his snotty look when im doing the same weights as him but nice and slow and full motion.

when you are working out you shouldnt be worried about what other people are doing or who is worrying about you. working out is for personal gain not for competition.

yeah the best is wheni see people doing shoulders..and they lift the weights straight out in front of them making their elbow joint locked and turned at a degree which it isnt meant to do.

I love the inclined leg press...i rocked it in highschool...i have really long arms so I wasnt good with bench press....butterflys I dominated....

I worked out with all these shorts stalky guys that were 150 lbs give or take and im like 6'5" 240 lbs ...we had our strengths and weaknesses working out together...its good for pushing the other...

course they would be doing push ups hand stands on the wall and shit and I was just lifting the weight rack...

I need another gym membership since I moved...my weight bench just isnt enough...

You mean keeping your arms straight and lifting them up in front of you? That's a legitimate exercise for deltoids. Remember, your shoulders have three heads and you need to work them all. :2 cents:

its crap for your elbow joints

there are much better ways to get at your shoulders

they do it from the side as well..straight out...when they should be pouring the pitcher

Yeah, you're not supposed to do it with a lot of weight .. I use like 25 pound dumbells. Your elbows shouldn't be quite locked, but your arms are pretty straight. I haven't had any elbow problems and my trainer gets all his clients to do that exercise too.

today? just 135 for most of it
then last set i did 185 for 8

in 4 more workouts ill bump it up to two plates aside

joints fucked up.. walking hunched over cause they try to impress others at the gym

I just laff and go at my own pace.. weight.. I don't mind
besides.. having a fucked up shoulder cause it popped out.. and once in a while the nerve just hits
so take it easy

Personally I can squat 325, hack squat 450 and leg press 900. Squats are probably my least favorite excercise though.

i personally do really light weights but lots of reps
I find it burns alot more, and im 255lbs right now so trying to tone upp

its about how much hoften and how well..
I can squat 275+ but i have to fucking chill out like 5 minutes between sets... if I squat 185 I can do high reps and explosive...which is what i really need ...

so its all good bro

It's common to put a lot of weight and not go all the way down, it concentrates on your quads.

BTW. A hack squat is either on a hack squat machine with is an angled sled like machine, or with the barbell behind you and under your ass with your arms hanging down.
