Domain Trading Advice Needed!
 

I want a domain off someone but he is charging WAY too much. So i worked out a deal with him i would design 2 sites for him for the domains he agreed.

However he said "You design the first layout, then i put the domain on your name server, then you design the 2nd and ill give you the domain"

I told him this provides me with no protection and i proposed he put down a cash deposit and he said no..

Then i proposed i do 1 layout and show him gifs and he gives me domain then i give him psds and do the next one and he says no.

No matter i do he is giving me no protection.. Anyone know of an escrow service or any other ideas?

This is crazy and i need this domain!

Update: I told him i would give me one of my other domains and a logo first. AND i would give him an ADDITIONAL (3rd) layout and my cell phone number.. still saying no

he is saying the domain is valued at $1200 for some reason. and my work i am giving him upfront is worth at most $150.. i dont get this

design the sites for him, put a watermark over the full design, once the transfer is done, then proceed
