Hello XXXXXXXXXXXXXX,

It has come to our attention that invalid clicks or impressions have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s) through users of third-party programs paid or provided with other incentives to visit your site. Such programs include, but are not limited to auto-surf, pay-to-surf, pay-to-read, or pay-to-click sites.

Please bear in mind that if we continue to detect invalid clicks or impressions from these services on your ads, we may disable your account to protect our advertisers. In addition, we may adjust your future payments for any days during which invalid clicks occurred in order to properly credit advertisers for any invalid activity.

We understand that you may wish to receive specific information regarding the invalid activity we observed on your account. However, due to the proprietary nature of our algorithm, we cannot disclose any details about how our monitoring technology works or what specifics we found on your account.
I don't even surf to the sites that I have google adsense on, they are ALL on autopilot, I haven't even literally pulled one up in a web browser in months

Yep. I had my blog network set as homepages for the computers I have set up for my customers at the deli.

I logged in to adsense and I'm guessing some customers clicked all from the same IP.

Lost the account and all the cash in it. They say their giving it back...yeah right.

at least they have mechanisms to detect their click fraud now.

i saw some credits on my account a year back or so from click fraud that they said they caught.

May be some nasty user did that .. this is the only bad thing about adsense, instead of investigating and eliminating fraud they simply boot the publisher. This trends is little bid reduced due to YPN, i hope they will be better after MSN come into play.

is there a good alternative to AdSense?

Jace - thats pretty common and is every adsense publisher's nightmare.

Theres a couple things you can do.

If you setup channels for each of your sites - notify them as soon as you until a weird spike in ctr than the norm, they prefer knowing ahead of time.

If you can provide server logs showing the same ip hitting your pages way more than normal that will help.

You can also get free software like adlogger to protect yourself.

Gluck.

Can you ask them for documentation supporting their claims? Try working with them to figure out the issue since you can't stop what you don't know right...

Adsense will never provide logs/ips of the invalid clicks, I wish they would though.
