Even Jon Stewart doesn't think Hillary stands a chance.
As liberal as he likes to come off at times, even he doesn't thing Hillary stands a chance at winning. I sure hope more Democrats figure this out before it is too late.

John Kerry, whom I see as a very weak presidential candidate, only lost by 2% to George Bush, whom I see as a very strong presidential candidate. Bush has a very strong base, all the way from pre-2000... Kerry came and lost only by 2% after being completely unknown and attacked from every side.
This is a clean slate election, people know who Hillary is, most won't know the Republican candidate, so if he doesn't have a good base like Bush does, he is toast. Time will tell. |

Hillary's main weakness is that she is a female; it may not be time for the US to elect a female. Other than that, there will be attacks against her, but nothing she can't deal with in the long run. Anyway, I can't think of anyone in the Democratic side with a better chance of winning... |

The main thing she has going against her is that there is very strong anti-clinton feelings on the far right. Neither Gulliani or McCain can rely on bringing in the hard christian right who are feeling like the republican party has abandon them. Without them winning for a republican will be difficult, but the far right hates the Clintons with a passion and if she ends up being the democrat nominee they may take the "anyone but Clinton" mentality and rally behind the republican nominee. She will have to find a way to overcome that.
She can win, but I don't think she will. |
I don't think she will win either.
