    My Response and Questions regarding the icq spam

    So for over 2 months now, I have been recieving and sending icq spams to people containing viruses. I have made post after post regarding this, and yet no solution. At first, it was coming from icq #'s that were not mine, though the nickname said 2bet.com. I have been getting them for a ton of people in my list on a daily basis, some of which are not the icq# but nickname of people I know.

    I have run a virus and adware software on my cpu and nothing has pulled up or been flagged since i dont click the links. But now, my real icq # is being used to send the messeges out and im recieving them from others real icq #.


    What do I need to do to get rid of this?

    New Icq #?

    Uninstall Icq and change my password?

    someone give me some feedback please.

      I have gotten several from you in the last couple of days. I verified it is your ICQ number by the history of conversations between us.

      To be honest, if it was anyone else I would probably just put you on ignore.

      I hate to say it, but your best option is probably to kill your existing account and start from scratch

              this is fucking nuts, I have so many fucking contacts that i dont want to loose. This is the most stupid virus ever and who ever lives a life of creating and spreading things like this needs to realize that karma is a bitch and one day all this will come back to them.

              My apologizes to everyone, and Baddog, I get them from you name too, though not your icq number.. the nick name comes in as BadDog and the messeges say "Our Deal on Hosting" then provides a link.

                      Got 3 from somebody named "Marc" You could tell from the links that it was not somethng friendly to click on.

                      Just blocked him after the 3rd.

                          did you try re-installing ICQ ? if it is a virus, it might have injected in ICQ itself.

                                          i put the 2bet on ignore, wasnt sure if your computer was infected or someone was just using the 2bet name

                                              ok, trillion has been unistalled and icq6 installed. I have been told this may change the outcome of the messeges going out. Please keep me posted
