Has anyone here ever used Spectersoft keylogging software?

I have a question if you have regarding a specific function of the particular brand of software.

I also have a legal question or two regarding what you can do with the information and also whether if is legal to use the software on a computer other than your own if the computer belongs to a minor. And if so, what if the and the computer is in a different county? Would that computer still be considered the parents computer?

Uhhhhhhh... why do you need to monitor a foreign child's computer for legal reasons, if you don't mind my asking?

this is a little creepy imo.

I'm not going to monitor anyone. I'd never do that... I can't totally get into it but there is a 17 year old that needs help and her parents are keylogging her without her knowledge and going to use that info against her in a harmful way because they are emotionally abusive. They've already moved her out of the home but are still controlling her movements and looking for further ways to harm her. I can't get into specifics beyond that but ...

I need to know exactly what the emails look like when a report is sent to them. There is a name attached that is not theirs. It appears to hold a name that given the circumstances could prove that they attempted to entrap someone else of who has been a support source for her emotionally.

And you're right. It IS creepy. Horrifying if you knew the details.

The original post said county, not country.

hmmm....if you suspect that keylogging on her computer, might as well search for software that can block it.
