For someone who is used to looking at tits and ass all day, 35 days can seem like a whole lot longer. Especially when you got a roommate named Bubba who likes to keep himself warm by snuggling up against you :upsidedow

The more i think about it, the more i suspect he may not survive. Crying like a baby over a 35 day sentence says it all.....

Joe Francis is reportedly going crazy in jail -- literally -- under the withering verbal assault of a convicted cop killer who's going wild, taunting Francis day and night with shouts of "Girls Gone Wild! Joe Francis! Whoo!"

What's more, the pimpresario is having "full-blown anxiety attacks" and is "breaking down," his lawyer tells the News-Herald of Panama City, Fla. He is isolated in a cold cell with only a towel and a blanket to keep him warm. And the poor, poor multimillionaire's plight is being exacerbated by his jail ward-mate, Robert Bailey, who has been sentenced to die for killing a police officer. Bailey, according to Aaron Dyer, Francis' lawyer, "would sit there and yell, 'Girls Gone Wild! Joe Francis! Whoo!"

Last week, said Dyer, Francis missed the medication cart and "went into a full-blown anxiety attack."

-----

This may just be a warm-up if Joe gets hit with Federal jail time for tax fraud...

PANAMA CITY, Fla. ? Blowing his nose and wiping away tears, the multimillionaire founder of the "Girls Gone Wild" video empire pleaded guilty to contempt of court Monday and was sentenced to 35 days in jail.

Joe Francis, who was sued by seven women who were minors when filmed, apologized to the judge for yelling at the plaintiffs during settlement talks.

"I am sorry for my behavior. It was wrong. I had heard about appeals and things and I was confused. I am sorry, I really am," said Francis, 34.

Francis drew the contempt charge during negotiations to settle the federal lawsuit brought after his production company filmed the women at Panama City Beach in 2003.

"His attorney, Jan Handzlik, said being in jail had changed his client.

"He is a different man. Undoubtedly he is a different man," he said."

Do you think he'll skip the country before the fraud charges reign in? The jail time for contempt of court that he's serving 35 days for is pittance compared to the more serious fraud charges. Or is it likely he'll walk anyway?

JD 04-23-2007 09:16 PM

what a pansy ass. :'( any of us did that shit and we'd be in the pen for YEARS

Was not familiar with the fraud charges Mike..

"Girls Gone Wild" creator Joseph Francis was indicted Wednesday on charges that his companies, which sell videos of topless young women, claimed more than $20 million in false business expenses.

The federal indictment came one day after Francis was jailed on criminal contempt charges in Florida.

The Nevada indictment alleges that Mantra Films Inc. and its marketing arm, Sands Media Inc., claimed false deductions on the companies' 2002 and 2003 corporate income tax returns, the Department of Justice said in a statement.

The indictment also charges that Francis, 34, of Incline Village, used offshore bank accounts and entities purportedly owned by others to conceal income he earned in those years.
Mmmm.. penalty is supposed to be up to 10 years jailtime and $500K fine.... He's already a "target" and can't see it's worthwhile going on the run - "fraud" is still a criminal offense even on offshore areas and he'd just be escorted back the the US.

Damian_Maxcash 04-23-2007 09:30 PM

This T-shirt is going to be worth a fortune one day :)

The questions is, should I wash or pretend this is GGW sweat?

Porno Dan 04-23-2007 09:31 PM

OK.. he could have got more for telling the judge to fuck himself :winkwink:

Only know of one person who was jailed of 7 days for "contempt" - she was asked to apologize for something and refused to do so, simply because she was "right" and considered no need for an apology.

Judge tried to "persuade" her and threatened a fine of.. not much, about $300, - and back comes the reply "Who do you think I am?? Ivana Trump??" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Judge then tried to persuade again and if she still refused, would have to order jail time. "Fine... you must act as the law states - that is your duty" So, he sentenced her to seven days, - but let her loose in four :winkwink:

pornguy 04-23-2007 09:51 PM

His cell mate??
Yeah I am sure they put him in a cell with a killer.

Such bullshit.

Francis is lucky he settled the civil suit case with the underage girls prior to the Judge's ruling today on the contempt charge related to that case, otherwise the sentence could have been worse (as if the sentence for contempt is not bad enough, some reports indicate that Joe will have to pay out $70 million to the seven girls in the settlement).

He should be out in a week or two on the contempt sentence, since I guess he will get credit for time served, and time off for good behavior if he doesn't have another melt down - although I think he is still facing charges for bribery and possessing contraband drugs during his current stay in jail.

35 days can be a very long time for someone used to a very comfortable lifestyle who never was in jail before. A month isn't long, but I'd guess for him it's like ages...it's not like a boring stay in hospital, it's much different and enough to cause lasting psychological damages.

Ross 04-24-2007 05:05 AM

Seems very harsh to give him 35 days in Jail and pair him up with someone convicted to the death penalty.

Most of this story will be bullshit to keep his sites in the newspapers. Imagine the signups he'll be getting from it all?

Chariott 04-24-2007 05:13 AM

Moreover, he spends his time with cell mate who is a convicted cop-killer. This looks crazy. http://wwtdd.com/

Actualy ive just got outa a US jail after 6 half months for immigration issues....
Now im certainly no 'hard man' by any means or description...
Ive got no criminal record, and it was the first time I saw the inside of a jail in my life !
But to be truthfull, it was piss easy...
Time flew by and it was over, and i was out in no time...
Unfortunatly, i DONT have a millionare lifestyle to return too...
But if I DID have that lifestyle awaiting me...
Im sure that it would have gone by, even quicker ! :)
