Shooting nude content in front of vintage Coca Cola prop

A guy a know has a refrigerator that has the coke logo on it. It is too big to cover up with her body so it will show if I pose her in front of it. Even if I don't take photos of her in front of it you will still see it on the video part most likely.

The scene will actually be hardcore but doubt any of that will get in that part of the video/photos.

Qestion: Any of you guys have experience with this type of legality? I always see TV shows where they block out logos on T shirts. Perhaps this is just so they don't give out free advertising.

Just wondering if shooting nudy stuff with a Coca Cola logo that is partially visible could get me or my client in some trouble.

I wouldn't buy that content, or shoot it. Check out this link about Harley Davidson and Anabolic.... it should make you think twice about using any logos from any company.

"The Coca Cola Company has taken legal action against producers of a spirituality themed Italian film set in present day Israel in which Jesus drinks a can of Coke in the desert."

Well I don't know about ANY company. I'm sure the trendy clothing brands love to have their stuff seen in porn. If it's sexy enough for porn, then people are going to want to wear it.

Look at trends in underwear especially. Up until just a few years ago guys in the US were not buying expensive underwear at all. Cheap boxers and low end briefs still dominate, but now we see the higher priced pair of mens underwear around more and more. Even Target is selling that type of thing now. I think internet porn gets all the credit for this.

Any company can sue you for anything. Its more of a matter of which lawyers have the most time and money than anything else.

yeah u will be in big trouble......better forget the idea of the logo....

JP-pornshooter 04-25-2007 03:32 PM

i dont see a problem with that..and yes you can always get sued over anything, but there is no need to use a belt and suspenders either.
Obviously they put the brand name on their product, it is not like you have reproduced the brand logo. Kinda like a model wearing levis and sketchers..you can see the brand name but it is not like the model is showing off the brand name, she just happens to wear shoes and the shoes have a brand name tag on it..

heard they didn't want their logo in a Jesus film.. guessing they'd be mad having it in porn :P

My Coke rep didn't deliver today. He's coming tomorrow...I can ask him.

I know he'd probably enjoy a photo or two or three :1orglaugh
