If you'r running clickzs don't edit your accounts
 

If you edit your accounts right now it will delete all of them.. Man this is the 3rd time this has happened to me.

I tried that script on one of my low traffic link lists, & my traffic dropped by 30%. Anyone thats giving out a script that is hosted remotely is going to be tempted toward corruption, but thats just what i think :1orglaugh

Interesting opinion :) Can you explain why you think so?

Would you say the same about hosting? - would you insist on hosting your server at home?
Would you use only your own written scripts?
Would you never use your ISPs mailbox? - you have your own POP3/SMTP email-server?

I understand traffic is a money related issue but same is hosting, emails and scripts. I understand having a server-crash or data-loss is a drag but shit happens. God knows how many times I lost my ICQ message history ;).

What would be a real drag is - if they dont have backup :1orglaugh

Is there a problem with adding accounts? I can't seem to add any traders. I just started today.

I think if you do anything with the accounts it won't save to the server. So if you already have accounts and you edit anything all of them will be deleted untill they fix the problem

I am on server 3 do you think that matters? I guess it does because I'm having problems

There was a problem with the disk space for the accounts
database and that problem is solved now.
Normally this problem would not have occured since we
have software to monitor ClickZs, however one of our people is
moving to a new house so the server that software is on is
temporarily offline and could not alert us.

When you were editing your accounts during this problem
your accounts list could have been cleared. You can re add some
accounts now or we can also restore your entire account list
from our daily backups if you tell us what sites of yours you want
restored. if you edit your account list now to add accounts we will
not be able to see if yours had a problem previously, so make SURE
to let us know to put a backup online of your accounts database !!

Please ICQ/email me with that information and we will
restore your backup later today.
